This one’s an easy one. And maybe everyone has one of these already, apart from me! I’m not sure.
Either way, I created a FIGHTING playlist for myself recently.
I don’t mean for actual fighting. I am far too scaredy-cat for that 🙂
I mean for those times when I need energy, and balls, and fight. For when I’m pissed off, or I need confidence. Or just to feel good and strong. And alive!
It’s not like a gym playlist, or a favourite songs playlist.
It’s the playlist – YOUR playlist. The one that makes you go: Grr! I can do this! Just you try and stop me! Haters better watch out! Grr again!
Here is my current fighting playlist. Please note that these aren’t my favourite songs, or songs I listen to with other people. (I don’t even like P!nk – and she’s on there twice!)
But these are my favourite chest-puffing, fist-clenching, I can do this songs!

When I put this playlist on, I get hyped up and spurred on to action. How can I sit down, when there are countries to discover… seas to set sail on… rights to be righted?!
Now think about your fighting playlist. What songs – when you put them on – get you all riled up, and mad, and ready to take on the world? Get them together. Hone that playlist. They have to be the best, most ROAR-y songs for you.
And put them on when you need them. Before an interview? Going into a tough meeting? Dealing with someone difficult?
Let the tunes do the work!
And of course, I don’t mean actually go out and fight.
Just have the fight in you 🙂
